Covance Market Access Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Marc Ginsky to Vice President and General Manager. His new role is in effect as of January 1, 2007 and he will be relocating from Princeton, New Jersey to our Gaithersburg, Maryland office.

Mr. Ginsky is an outstanding choice to serve as General Manager of the Market Access Services business unit. Having been a practicing attorney for over 18 years, he understands the delivery of complex, knowledge-based professional services. In his over eight years with Covance, among his other business unit responsibilities, he has provided legal counsel and, more importantly, served as an active member of the executive leadership teams of the Market Access and Periapproval businesses, providing him with a unique understanding of our Commercialization operations and our clients' needs.

Mr. Ginsky also has led a number of important corporate-wide initiatives, including serving as Covance's Business Integrity Officer and revitalizing our business integrity program to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley standards that now apply to US-based companies. In this capacity, he visited most of the Covance sites around the world and helped structure and negotiate the acquisition of eight clinical research sites from Radiant Research, the largest acquisition in Covance history.

Mr. Ginsky earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, recently obtained an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University and has a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
